WordPress payment & donation buttons
Put a payment or donation button, card or QR code on any WordPress page, no WooCommerce needed.
What it does
Puts the payment links you create in the MercanPay panel (fixed price, or open-amount donation links) on your site in three styles:
- Button: a "Pay with crypto" / "Donate" button in the MercanPay gradient with TRX and USDT icons.
- Card: the link's title, description and price, a button and an optional small QR code.
- QR code: a scannable QR for sidebars and printed material.
Ideal for blogs, news sites, nonprofits and creators. Visitors pay on MercanPay's hosted payment page; no wallet or account is needed on your site.
Installation
- In WordPress go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, upload the zip and activate it.
- Create a link on the Payment links page of the MercanPay panel.
- Optionally enter an API key with the
readscope under Settings → MercanPay to pick your links from a list in the block editor. The key stays on your server and is never sent to visitors.
Usage
Block editor: add the "MercanPay payment button" block, choose your link and the style (button, card, QR). You get a live preview in the editor.
Shortcode:

style can be button, card or qr. The stylesheet loads only on pages that use a button.
