TRC20 address validator
Check a TRON address before sending USDT or TRX. Format, length and checksum are verified in your browser; the address is never sent anywhere.
Free · no sign-upHow to use it
- Paste the address into the box.
- The result appears instantly: valid, invalid or from another network.
- If it's invalid, don't send; ask for the address again.
What a TRC20 address looks like
TRON addresses start with "T" and are 34 characters long. The end of the address contains a checksum that catches typos. This tool decodes the address and verifies the checksum, so a single wrong character is caught.
Wrong network warning
Addresses starting with 0x belong to networks such as Ethereum (ERC20) or BNB Smart Chain (BEP20). USDT lives separately on each network; if you accept TRC20, the sender must choose TRON (TRC20). The tool flags these addresses.
Privacy
The check runs entirely in your browser; the address is not sent to our server or stored.
Frequently asked questions
Does valid mean correct?
No. The tool confirms the address is well-formed; it can't know who owns it. Always copy addresses from a trusted source and send a small test transfer before a large one.
What is address poisoning?
An attacker sends tiny transfers from an address that looks like yours so it appears in your history. Always copy the address from the original source, never from your transaction history.
Are TRX and USDT addresses the same?
Yes. On TRON the same address receives both TRX and USDT (TRC20).
Can USDT sent on the wrong network be recovered?
Often not automatically; it depends on whether the receiver controls a wallet on that network. Checking the network before sending is the safest approach.
