Is there automatic recurring billing?
No. Crypto can't be pulled from a customer's wallet, and MercanPay has no subscription or recurring billing feature. You create a new invoice each period, which you can fully automate with the API and webhooks.
How long does an invoice stay open?
Up to 24 hours. It works well to send renewal reminders a few days early and replace an expired invoice with a new one.
Can I test before going live?
Yes. Test mode and test API keys let you run invoice creation, payment and webhooks end to end without real money.
Which languages have libraries?
PHP and Python libraries are available. From any other language you can call the REST API directly; there is no official Node.js SDK at the moment.
What does it cost?
Commission starts from 0.4% and is set per merchant. Withdrawals cost 1-3 USD, and the minimum invoice is 10 USD.
